From the latest Famitsu weekly magazine, it’s been announced that Utawarerumono’s first installment is getting a remake for the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita. The second and third installments already released worldwide for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita.

The remake will have HD scenes and improved battle scenes once it launches in Japan on April 26, 2018 with premium and standard editions. The premium edition will come with the original anime on Blu-Ray, visual book and original soundtrack. Japan will also get a trilogy box set that will include all three installments of the series.

There’s no word yet on the remake’s release outside of Japan but we expect it to make its way to other counties like it’s previous releases.
