The big announcement from Square-Enix is here and it’s not something many predicted – Square Enix and its studios are going to be working on a multi-game Marvel project.

Eidos Montreal (Deus Ex: Mankind Divided) and Crystal Dynamics (Rise of the Tomb Raider) will both be contributing. It sounds like it’ll be a counterpart to the immensely popular Marvel Cinematic Universe, and with such solid developers behind it there’s definitely a lot of promise.

No platforms have been announced as of yet. We’ll be sure to bring you more news as it’s made available.

  1. Huh, well, better late than never? Perhaps why not a lot of guesses pointed in this direction is due to the timing… Iron Man (the first film) is approaching 10 years soon. Well, hopefully this will come out before KH 3 then and based off sales Square can see if putting any MCU world(s) into the game is a viable option.
