It looks like Sony may be kicking off 2017 with some relaxing farming life sims, if a couple of new ratings by the ESRB are anything to go by. Two PS2 Harvest Moon titles, Save the Homeland and A Wonderful Life Special Edition, have been approved by the board for the PlayStation 4.

Chances are they’ll be part of the PS2-on-PS4 push, meaning both games could see the addition of trophies and slightly nicer graphics.

Save the Homeland was the first Harvest Moon to release on PS2 and is somewhat limited as a result – unlike most games in the series which can last several in-game years, where you marry a spouse, have a kid and expand your farm even more, Save the Homeland is limited to just one year. Still, there are 9 different endings based on the people you befriend and the scenes you trigger, so there is something for fans to come back to.

A Wonderful Life Special Edition, meanwhile, is something of a fan favorite. Unlike Save the Homeland it has the years-spanning story, and its cast of memorable characters is pretty significant. The game was originally released for the GameCube, but the PS2 Special Edition took it even further by adding in a new romance option, the ability to have a daughter, numerous new items and an updated soundtrack.

There’s no word yet on when these titles will become available to download but it should be soon. We’ll be sure to let you know!
